AM CONTEST (AMC) – CONTENT LICENSE AGREEMENT
Effective upon submission
By submitting a music video to AM Contest (AMC), you (“Artist” or “Contestant”) agree to the following terms:
OWNERSHIP
You retain full ownership of your original music, lyrics, and performance.
AMC does not claim ownership of your song or artistic work.
LICENSE GRANTED TO AMC
You grant AM Contest (AMC) a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to:
Host, publish, stream, display, and distribute your submitted video
Edit, crop, subtitle, or create short clips and promotional excerpts
Repost content across AMC platforms (website, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Monetize the video and related content (including ads and platform revenue)
Archive and reuse the video for future promotions, recaps, trailers, and historical content
This license applies across all current and future digital platforms.
EXCLUSIVITY
During the active competition period, AMC’s use of the submitted video is exclusive for competition and promotional purposes.
After the competition ends, the license becomes non-exclusive, allowing you to use your video elsewhere freely.
REPRESENTATIONS & WARRANTIES
By submitting your video, you confirm that:
You own or control 100% of the rights to the music and video
Your submission contains no unlicensed samples, beats, lyrics, or visuals
The video does not infringe on any third-party rights
You have permission from anyone appearing in the video
You agree to indemnify AMC against claims arising from false representations.
NO ROYALTIES OR COMPENSATION
You understand that:
AMC is not required to pay royalties or fees for use of your submitted content
Participation does not guarantee advancement, selection, or prizes
Any prizes or benefits are governed separately by the Official Rules
WITHDRAWAL
Once your video is published as part of the competition:
You may not withdraw the video during the active competition
AMC may retain archived copies after the competition concludes
PUBLICITY RELEASE
Name
Likeness
Artist name
Submitted content
for promotional and editorial purposes related to the competition.
GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which AMC is registered.
ACCEPTANCE
By submitting a video and checking the agreement box, you confirm that:
You have read and understood this agreement
You agree to be legally bound by its terms
