AM CONTEST (AMC) – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AM Contest (AMC) website, platform, and services, including participation in music competitions, content submissions, public interaction, and related digital features.
Additional agreements—such as the Content License Agreement and Official Competition Rules—may apply depending on your role (artist, voter, partner, or visitor). In the event of a conflict, the specific agreement applicable to the activity shall prevail.
Binding Agreement
By accessing, registering with, submitting content to, voting on, or otherwise using AMC services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Participation in any AMC competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms, the Content License Agreement, and any Official Rules applicable to that competition.
Electronic Communications
By using AMC, you consent to receive communications electronically, including emails, platform notifications, announcements, and notices. You agree that such communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.
Intellectual Property
AMC and its licensors own and control all intellectual property rights associated with the AMC platform, including but not limited to the website, branding, logos, competition format, text, graphics, and software.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or exploit any AMC-owned materials without prior written consent.
Contestant-submitted content is governed by the AMC Content License Agreement.
Platform Nature & Competition Structure
AMC operates as a digital music competition platform. Competitions hosted on AMC may vary in format, structure, duration, eligibility, and selection methods.
Each competition may require participants to submit original content, which may include a music video or other creative material, as defined in the applicable Official Rules. AMC reserves the right to modify competition formats between seasons.
Public Interaction & Voting
Some AMC competitions may include public interaction, including voting, engagement, or feedback, as part of the advancement or selection process.
The methods, eligibility, and weighting of public interaction are determined per competition and outlined in the applicable Official Rules. AMC reserves the right to monitor, verify, adjust, or invalidate interactions to ensure fairness and integrity.
Responsible Use
You agree to use AMC only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Submit infringing, false, misleading, or unlawful content
Manipulate voting or engagement systems
Use bots, automation, or fraudulent activity
Interfere with platform functionality or security
Collect or harvest data without authorization
Any activity that disrupts the platform or undermines competition integrity is strictly prohibited.
Registration & Account Security
You may be required to create an account to access certain AMC services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.
AMC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable rules.
Fees, Payments & Refunds
Certain AMC services or competition features may require payment. Any applicable fees will be disclosed prior to participation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all payments are non-refundable once the relevant activity has begun. Payment does not guarantee advancement, selection, visibility, or awards.
User-Submitted Content
By submitting content to AMC, you represent that your submission complies with these Terms and all applicable agreements. AMC reserves the right to review, moderate, remove, or restrict content at its sole discretion.
All submitted content is subject to the AMC Content License Agreement.
Unsolicited Submissions
Do not submit ideas, concepts, or creative materials outside the official submission processes unless requested. Any unsolicited submissions may be used without obligation or compensation.
Suspension & Termination
AMC may modify, suspend, or terminate access to the platform or services at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons.
You are not entitled to compensation for loss of access, content, or participation resulting from such actions.
Warranties & Limitation of Liability
AMC services are provided “as is” and “as available.” AMC makes no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, competition outcomes, or participant success.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AMC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of opportunity, exposure, or revenue. AMC’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, to AMC.
Privacy
Your use of AMC is subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when required.
Accessibility
AMC is committed to providing accessible digital content. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please notify us with details so we may address the issue.
Legal Compliance
You may not use AMC in violation of applicable laws or regulations, including intellectual property, digital commerce, or export control laws.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without prior written consent. AMC may assign its rights freely.
Breaches
If you breach these Terms, AMC may take appropriate action, including content removal, disqualification, account suspension, or legal proceedings.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMC from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, submission of infringing content, or misuse of the platform.
Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.
Language
These Terms are written and governed exclusively in English.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Content License Agreement, and applicable Official Rules, constitute the entire agreement between you and AM Contest (AMC).
Updates
AMC may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts within the United States.
